7+ Taskbar Tweaker v4.1

7+ Taskbar Tweaker v4.1 is out.

The most important change is the new help file, which explains the available tweaks. It should make it easier to get started with the tweaker.

Also, 7+ Taskbar Tweaker has a new bug/feature tracker.

Among other changes:

  • Update notification: A checkbox for not notifying about a particular version.
  • Latvian translation, thanks Aigars Jacmenkins!
  • Windows volume control (SndVol.exe) runs in higher priority for better performance.
  • Fixed right drag detach on vertical taskbar (“Drag within/between groups using right mouse button” option).
  • Rebuilt the portable launcher to support older processors (versions 4.0.4 to 4.0.10 supported only processors with SSE2 instruction set).

Note
There is a bug in versions 4.0.10 and lower, which may lead to a crash when trying to update.
If you encounter such an issue, please download and update manually.

    Yep, crashing when updating from 4.0.10. Manual update ran just fine 🙂

    Would be nice to see the possibility for a 32px wide vertical taskbar (the default limit with 62px minimum is just horrible) 🙂

    is the feature where you could scroll your mouse wheel while holding the right mouse button to show/hide labels of the group under the mouse removed?

    I have been using Taskbar shuffle for a long time.
    Taskbar Shuffle-XP
    When a new item is opened, It opens up on top of the queue of the group.

    7+ Taskbar Tweaker
    Do you have such an option in this application. The New Item opens at the start of the Group.

    I have recently upgraded to windows 7. I keep opening new items and close those items regularly for my freelancing projects.

    Проблема оказалась в Тотал Командере. Если запустить из него, то версия будет 5.1 а если открыть в чистой виндовс то нормально запускается.

    Clicking on the date/time to open the Windows calendar seems to not be working when I have the Taskbar Tweeker running. Is there an option I have enabled/disabled?

    Running version 4.1.7 in 32-bit Windows 7.
