Windhawk mod: Cycle through taskbar windows on click
Here’s another Windhawk mod that brings a 7+ Taskbar Tweaker option to Windows 11: Cycle through taskbar windows on click. It was a rather popular request on the list in Windhawk mods for the Windows 11 taskbar. The mod makes clicking on combined taskbar items cycle through windows instead of opening thumbnail previews.
Thank you so much for this. I remember requesting this since the Windhawk release, and now where the Windows 10 taskbar broke on 22H4, I feared I had to live without this functionality for a while. Just in time!
Very nice! Any chance we can get it so that when you click on the icon, it doesn’t make the previews above the icon disappear?
Thanks for the feedback. It’s actually a native Windows feature which can be activated by holding the Ctrl key, the mod merely makes the taskbar think that the Ctrl key is pressed. Your suggestion requests some extra coding, you can create an issue for it here and I’ll consider it for a future update if there’s demand for it.
