I have recently installed four five utilities for explorer. After installing, Tab option has disappeared in Window Explorer. Can you guide me so that I may disable that utility.

    Hello,

When I enter a value other than 0 for “tray_icons_padding”, the first 2 icons from the right disappear. I think there is a bug. I would be glad if you could look into it.

Is it possible to use an older Explorer in Win11 with the “Fake Explorer path” mod?

If I have Win10 LTSB on a seperate drive, can I use the Explorer from it as a File manager in Win11? (I don’t care about the Taskbar, Start Menu, etc…).

It doesn’t have to be the default FM either, as long as it works…

    Hello,

I just updated 7+ Taskbar Tweaker on Windows 7 on version 5.15.3 , but this version totally breaks the program, all options are gray and the program not working at all.

It will be better, that we can download older versions somewhere. I had lucky, I found previous version 5.15.2 on MajorGeeks.

Thank you in advance, and hope, that this issue is solvable.

I get occasional explorer crashing with all previously opened File Explorers closed.

Well folks, I’m going to let you off the hook because I don’t believe you have a clue. I did some further testing and like I mentioned “Windhawk” (which didn’t show up in my start group) by Stardock, was stopping your programs cold. Probably injecting code where your programs want to run. You might want to put that up on your community boards for all to see. Lots of people like to change how Win 10 & 11 look and use various programs to make the change, but graphically these programs can stomp all over other programs. So “Nadia” and “Genesis” are working again and not just in safe mode. Stardock is a bunch of programmers feeding a program with their modes, so I doubt you can get around that wild west.
    Peace,
    Mr.T

    • Hi, I understand it’s about incompatibility of Windhawk with games. Indeed, some games conflict with Windhawk. A couple of notes regarding this:

      • Excluding the games in Windhawk usually helps. You can add the relevant paths to the exclusion list as shown here.
      • In the next Windhawk version, common game paths will be excluded by default.

BTW, Windhawk isn’t related to Stardock.

        Michael,
Thanks for your reply. Stardock, Ramen, Windhawk, all so confusing, modes and getting pushed to community forums with 100’s of incorrect responses. Reminds me of my early days in the 70’s IT Industry and dealing with group programmers. When I can’t get an answer to a simple question, I know it’s time to look elsewhere. Windhawk left much to be desired and some of it’s functions didn’t really work. Having a search function that didn’t really search was one of the last straws for me. Modes are good and bad, as they can cripple a program. To really understand a program like Windhawk and a few others you need to be C++ educated, and that is not your everyday user. I have a job and don’t have time to invest in learning another programming language. So like any business person I have moved on to a program that’s a little overkill for my needs, but written in a language I can understand, and where I can have a one-on-one conversation with a single person. “Actual Transparent Windows” Not a bunch of flashy modes, just things that makes your OS function and it doesn’t brake any of my games. Not free, but neither was Windhawk. Again Michael, thanks for your reply.

    I’m loving Windhawk.
On the apps that are open in the taskbar, the right click button only opens the right click menu for a brief second then it collapses. However when I click on the Windhawk right click menu, it stays open.

tried to make 2 rows of icons, closer, small, and spacing; does not work on my new win 11 latest.

    Hi, pals

Windhawk in Portuguese (Brazil) brings the word “configuration” misspelled (with a non-existent “s”).

    Cheers
