I was seriously considering launching into making a patch to always show all system tray icons myself, then I found windhawk. Amazing work, please don't give up.

Love this feature in 7TT. Honestly, I'm staying on 10 because 11 can't do that... nor put the main taskbar on a secondary monitor, but that's manageable.

I really hope you can revive "Never combine" in windows 11!

The app is indispensable to resolve the MSFT bugs (reordering taskbar items at random, etc.).

For me, an auto-hide taskbar on the left, with text labels, is the most practical. And I am used to it. I can't become proficient with the interface constantly changing.

For me Taskbar Tweaker was the single app that made the difference between Windows 10 being usable vs unusable. Hoping that the never combine and preview disable can one day work on Windows 11.

The time and effort it takes to develop and maintain this tool is greatly appreciated!

Mainly a thank you for the drag-to-reorder and clock-seconds mods, which were the big things I wanted. But I might as well attribute this to my third choice, anyway. 🙂

"Remove extra gap between pinned items" does not seem to work yet (8.1, vertical taskbar on the right, small icons), but dynamic ungrouping does. Keep on, I even have feature requests 😉 !

Unfortunately, IMHO M$ is starting (KB5022913) to actively fight against software that restores the taskbar from W10, so native software for W11 is becoming more and more necessary.

Taskbar Tweaker has saved my sanity. Especially useful for keeping Photoshop CS6 to a single button when I've got a dozen files open, whilst allowing other apps to have a button per document.

I really do find it great on how it's able to decombine the applications together like it's Windows prior to 7. In some ways, I really do wish MS didn't make too many crazy updates to break it.

Since the Windows 10 team committed the ordering of task bar icons not being fixed for virtual desktop, this tool saves the day for me.

Essential for making Win UI usable. My second donation. But I agree that the amount seems rather high to fix this error. Suggestion for new feature: make task bar buttons free to position. Thanks!

Great v5.9.0.9 7tt_setup_beta.exe for Windows 10 OS Build v19041.450. So far, it works OK. Tried first 7tt_setup.exe v5.9, but W10 wouldn't let it load its files.

Wonderful software.

Stable version 5.9.0.0 stopped working after I installed 19041.450 (KB4566782). I tried 5.9.0.9 beta and it started working again. This made me realize how much I like 7+ Taskbar Tweaker.

This is the most useful utility ever to be released for Windows 7+. Why Microsoft has not approached you and offered just compensation to incorporate your work into Windows remains a mystery. w8u1p

Oh my GOD I cannot thank you enough for the continued taskbar workarounds and wish to make yet another donation. Need to UNCOMBINE labels/tabs of same app on same screen. Now I can move them again!

Without this software working I'm reminded just how badly I dislike the standard windows taskbar, can't resize it at all and I use this to make it much smaller for screen real estate usage. Thank you

#w11_hovering. As a visually impaired person, I have to use magnifier to enlarge the screen. With hovering turned on, it is a distraction. When List is selected, the screen is much less cluttered.

I cannot understand why somebody would ever want "large" icons of 22x22 that no application has, rather than the previous 32x32. Re-enabling actual large icons is easily worth a donation.

Every time I boot a fresh Windows install, I notice I don't like the default taskbar behavior and end up installing 7+TT in the first hours (along with a Mouse Button automator). Capital: immediate window cycling. Nice extra: volume tuning on mouse scroll!

It started in Windows 7 and got worse in Windows 10 - inability to customize your taskbar. For me this is a big problem and a big productivity drain. Thanks to Taskbar Tweaker, I can get more out of Windows 10 and not have to deal with the taskbar inflexibility. No registry fixes or hassles. With Taskbar Tweaker I can move app icons around as I please (ungrouped), turn off annoying thumbnail previews.

I just use this software to rearrange thumbnails, and it works great. Thanks for writing it!

Must-have on a 1440p screen and great program in general!

Loved TT on Windows 10 and will try to avoid using Windows 11 as long as possible. But if I have to switch: I hope there is new TT to make the taskbar a tool and not a nuisance.

I cannot live without your great feature - click an icon on the task bar and rotate thru the open windows (e.g., Chrome might have 3 instances running - 3 clicks would rotate me thru open instances)

only using the tweaker for increasing the size of the desktop peek, but since it's unusably small on a 4k screen, what else can a nerd do? 😀

The developer is very responsive. Every time windows updates, the taskbar tweaker can always be fixed in a short time. I know it's not easy and the amount of hard work should not be neglected.

The right-click to recombine taskbar groups is essential for me. Here's a donation in the hopes that you'll make an updated version of the app for windows 11! Waiting for that before switching to W11

Very useful (use to change grouping behaviour, so can have multiple instances of code editor easily accessible)

As far as I can tell, this is the closest you can get to having any form of order with Windows taskbar, so thank you for your work.

Will donate to an helpful tool. But as long as Microsoft does so many changes, an Alpha which may work is a ›will‹ too less to a measurable donation.

A nice little piece of software that I hope continues to be developed as long as windows is here.
I myself only go it to enlarge the "show desktop" button, but it turned out to be much more useful.

Its not much but I was forced to use 7 at work and these programs will make it livable.

You deserve it! The Hovering feature works! I can show the groups of programs in terms of names instead of stupid previews!!
